Patrick Mahomes' 29th birthday is one he'll never fore-get.
After all, his best friend and Kansas City Chiefs teammate Travis Kelce surprised him with quite the extravagent gift.
"Travis got me a Louis Vuitton golf bag," Patrick, who enjoys hitting the greens in his spare time, shared on the Sept. 17 episode of Audacy's The Drive podcast, "so that is gonna be sweet."
However, the quarterback joked that he's not sure how practical the luxurious present—which ranges from $22,600 to $31,500 in price—will be if he's ever stuck in the sand traps.
“I don’t know how much I can use that on the golf course," Patrick quipped, "but it will be nice to have."
The NFL star was fêted at a private party on Sept. 15 following the Chiefs' 26-25 victory against the Cincinnati Bengals. Not only was Travis and their teammates on hand to ring in Patrick's special milestone, but the tight end's girlfriend Taylor Swift was also in attendance to celebrate.
As seen in social media images, the "Karma" singer took pictures with Chiefs defensive tackle Chris Jones’ wife Sheawna Weathersby and wide receiver Mecole Hardman’s fiancée Chariah Gordon inside a photobooth at the bash.
“Happy Birthday Patrick," the caption of the photo strip read. "Twenty Nine, Straight Outta ’95."
Patrick's wife Brittany Mahomes—with whom he shares kids Sterling Skye, 3, Patrick "Bronze" Lavon, 21 months, and a third baby on the way—also shared footage from the festivities, which included a massive cookie cake, a giant balloon display in the Chiefs' colors and lots of throwback photos of the three-time Super Bowl champ as a child.
"Happy Birthday to one of the greatest humans ever, my husband, best friend and the best daddy ever!" Brittany—who celebrated her own 29th birthday last month—wrote on Instagram. "We are so grateful you are ours!"
She added, "We Love Youuuuuu."
